$11,000 In Tools Stolen In Oil City

Thieves stole an estimated $11,000 in tools of various varieties from a number of vans parked at the Oil City sewage treatment plant.

Oil City police say someone entered the plant property, and then broke into a number of vans belonging to a Fairview construction company.  The incident occurred sometime between late Monday afternoon and 6:00 AM Tuesday morning.

Both power tools and hand tools were taken, ranging from wrenches to large cutting units.

Any information should be forwarded to the Oil City Police.
